NT17 in honor of Millie Dresselhaus
The NT conference meetings disseminate the latest advances in the science and applications of low-dimensional systems, including carbon nanotubes, graphene and others.
NT17 took place at Federal University of Minas Gerais - UFMG, Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais. We all thanks the effort of the Organizing Committee for bringing a so important event to Minas Gerais.
Professor Raphael, Jenaina and Master Student Diego, under supervision of Profa. Jenaina, were glad to have a total of 5 works accepted for presentation in the NT17. In more details, 3 works accepted for presentation in the poster sections of the NT17, and 3 works accepted for presentations in the contributed talk sections of the Satellite Symposia of the NT17, the 12th International Symposium on Computational Challenges and Tools for Nanotubes (CCTN17) and the 8th Graphene and 2D Materials Satellite Symposium (GSS17). For more details, take a look on NT17 (click here), CCTN17 (click here) and GSS17 (click here) web pages.
Raphael forgot to take photos of Jenaina's talk (shame on you Raphael), but she didn't forget to take photos on his, shown below (thank you Jenaina!!!).
But Raphael did remember to take photos on the ceremony to Thanks Profa. Mildred Dresselhaus (The "Carbon Queen", see more information here). Bellow Profa. Jenaina introduces Professor Riichiro Saito to give some words about his collaboration and experiences with Profa. Mildred.
